Nora Gubins manages marketing and communications at GBCA.  As part of her role, she assists in proposal strategy and preparation, as well as business development and public relations.  Prior to joining GBCA in 2021, Nora served in director roles at the Insurance Institute of Canada, York University and Grant Thornton LLP.  She has also worked with various professional services firms including NORR Architects Engineers, Bregman + Hamann (now B+H Architects), and several smaller design firms. She has previously held memberships with the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) and the Society of Marketing Professional Services (SMPS).

Nora holds a degree in Art History from the University of Toronto and has completed executive education courses at Schulich School of Business and the Harvard School of Business, where she was among the first Canadians to take the professional services leadership program.  Nora is fluent in Latvian.
