Ida Seto, B.Arch, OAA, MRAIC, LEED AP (BD+C), CAHP, is senior architect at GBCA, bringing more than 20 years of experience in design and construction, with a specialization in heritage architecture. Since joining GBCA in 1999, Ida has been project architect on a broad range of award-winning GBCA projects including the Provincial Offences Act Courts in Guelph, the former Toronto post office/Argus Corporation building at 10 Toronto Street, and the Concourse Building, Toronto. Currently Ida is leading the heritage work at the multi-year renovation and refurbishment project of the Macdonald Block governmental complex in Toronto.
Ida holds a Bachelor of Environmental Studies and a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Waterloo. She is a long-standing member of various industry groups including the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada (RAIC), the Ontario Association of Architects (OAA), the Canadian Association of Heritage Professionals (CAHP), and the Toronto Society of Architects (TSA). She is a LEED accredited architect, with a specialization in building design and construction.
