Held in conjunction with the Heritage Canada Awards Ceremony, the Canadian Association of Heritage Professionals Awards were handed out on September 25, 2009. Held at the Artscape Wychwood Barns in Toronto, the objective of the awards program is to recognize and celebrate excellence in the work of CAHP members and promote understanding and appreciation of our cultural heritage. GBCA received an Award of Merit in the Adaptive Reuse category for the recent Maitland Residence of the National Ballet School.
