The 2011 Heritage Toronto Awards were handed out on October 4, 2011 at Koerner Hall in the Royal Conservatory of Music.

All three of GBCA’s nominated projects received awards in their respective categories. An Award of Excellence went to GBCA for the restoration of 10 Toronto Street (Toronto’s Seventh Post Office). An Award of Merit went to GBCA, with AUDAXarchitecture Inc and Den Bosch + Finchley for the rehabilitation of 1099 Yonge Street (the Five Thieves). And an Honourable Mention went to GBCA, with PDA Architects, for the adaptive reuse of the Pease Foundry Building on Laird Drive. Congratulations to all of our collaborators.
